Desi Clan was established very early in 2007, however the idea was well thought of late 2006 and slowly it came apparent that it was time we established ourselves properly with a much needed website and community forum.

The idea was actually a niche and one that we thought wont go very far. But we were proven wrong, slowly but surely we noticed people started coming to the surface from all spheres of gaming whether they played RPG's or FPS's to facebook poker! We were just about gaming literally, and slowly we found common interests between one another and formed a little group which now has turned into a successful clan. We are a very close-nit clan as it consists of friends who know other friends and not necessarily just random people from the internet. Having said that we will expand our horizons and reach people from all over the place, as im sure not all friends play games and there will be a point in time where we will need to take people on board from the internet. This is what makes us unique and strong as we are a team of friends and which is very unlikely to disband, we are hardcore gamers! This is what makes us different to the many clans that are out there, simply because we have a very strong bond and trust among one another, which is very unlikely to break.

Desi predominantely stands for "South Asians" but that dosent mean the clan consists of Asians only! Desi is a colloquiall word, it is just a name which was thought to be unique and a niche. The idea thrived and soon the clan was growing with people from different ethnic backgrounds. We already have a handful of people who are not Desi Asians and are active clan members with the clan. Desi Clan welcomes everybody and anybody to join our clan, irrespective of race, religion or colour. We do not tolerate any form of racism, but encourage people to respect one another in a manner which you would like to be treated yourself.

Desi Clan is about trust, respect and team work thus making it fun for everybody. We play all types of games ranging from Command and Conquer Zero Hour, BF2, Call of Duty 1,2,3,4 to our most popular played game in the clan which is Counter Strike Source.
